Dynamic modeling of water temperature and flow in large water system

Thermal energy counts for a large part of the total consumption. To reduce fossil fuel consumption heat and cold generation, different low temperature sources have been considered. Water networks considered as amount water flow through it. measure thermal potential system, this paper provides method in unsteady state to determine systems made buried pipes. The model has applied raw supply system up 5000 km piping carrying 200 million m3 annually situated south France. is calculated considering exchange spatial specificities network (diameter pipes, depth, type soil …). Soil measurements validate values. can predict according time with good accuracy: maximal error 10% on obtained, root mean square 0.84?C, correlation coefficient between measured values 0.98. impact adding several (or cold) injections evaluated model. After 2 MW exchange, increased by at least 1circC 10 downstream exchange.
